Photography Lessons in Dubai

Three 2-hour sessions — camera basics, creative control and composition at AED800 Per session.
Book any two together for AED1,400, or all three for AED2,100. Take them back to back or spread across separate visits, whichever suits you.

Which level is right for you?

Start with Level 1 if: you're new to photography, have a new camera you haven't worked out yet, or aren't confident switching out of Auto mode.

Go straight to Level 2 if: you already know your Aperture/Shutter/Manual modes and roughly what ISO does, but want to actually understand exposure rather than guess.

Go straight to Level 3 if: you're comfortable with your settings already and it's your framing, not your exposure, that's holding your shots back.

  • Content:

    Get comfortable with the camera in your hands before we get creative with it.

    You'll learn about:

    • Camera handling and anatomy

    • Lens and focus operation

    • Reading and using your camera's shooting modes

    • Basic exposure, so Level 2 makes sense from the start

    • Caring for your camera

    By the end you'll know your way round your camera without needing to think about it.

  • Content:

    This is where photography gets creative. We'll cover:

    • Aperture and depth of field

    • Shutter speed, for freezing or blurring motion

    • ISO and how it affects your images

    • Bringing aperture, shutter and ISO together (the exposure triangle)

    • Basic composition, including framing and leading lines

    • Live shooting practice putting it all together

  • Content:

    This one's about training your eye, not your camera.

    You'll learn about:

    • The rule of thirds, and when to break it

    • Leading lines and framing

    • Foreground interest and depth

    • Negative space

    • Patterns, symmetry and repetition

    • Live shooting practice, applying it to a real scene on location

    By the end you'll be composing shots on purpose, not by accident.

The important stuff

Each level runs 2 hours and costs AED800. Book any two levels together for AED1,400, or all three for AED2,100. Take them in one sitting or spread across multiple visits. Add a friend and share the cost: +AED320 per person for a single level, +AED560 per person for two levels, +AED840 per person for all three.
